I purchased this book because it is required for a graduate level Engineering Management course I am taking. In terms of overall quality, I would give it an above-average rating. It does a decent job summarizing some of the work various management science experts throughout history and also providing useful summarized statistics about which management methods work and which don’t work in a modern environment. In terms of price, I think it’s a little overpriced for the amount and depth of material that is presented. At its current price of roughly $130, it’s a book that’s only going to be purchased when it’s required text for a college course like mine.
