No need to spring for the latest edition, in my current opinion. I haven’t passed the test yet, and I could be wrong.

This book is very hard to follow. One of the reasons this is hard to follow is because is typed with a typewriter and the solutions to the problems are hand written. In today’s world who publishes hand written books?

All the books in the Kaplan Mechanical PE series (I have the latest editions) are disappointing but this is the worst.

I prefer Lindenburg instead. It is better structured and presented. Also, the Lindenburg PE book seems to have fewer mistakes than their FE book.
